Patient care aide

Pro-Care Health Services LTD ( Brandon, MB) is currently looking for a skilled Patient care aide. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities.
• The candidate must assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up, and assembling medical equipment.
• The candidate must perform other duties related to patient care and comfort.
• The candidate must serve meal trays and feed patients.
• The candidate must weigh, lift, turn, and position patients.
• The candidate must make beds and maintain patients’ rooms.
• The candidate must maintain inventory of supplies.
• The candidate must transport patients between care facilities.
• The candidate must transport patients in wheelchairs or stretchers.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
