Pastry chef

Che Desserts and Drinks ( Vancouver, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Pastry chef. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
• The candidate must prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• The candidate must prepare doughs, batters, icings, and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must demonstrate leadership.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
