Vancouver Croissant Ltd. is situated in Burnaby, BC and is hiring a Pastry chef to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, To be determined, , 09:00 to 17:30.

Job Description

• The candidate must estimate the amount and costs of supplies and food items.
• The candidate must maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
• The candidate must requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
• The candidate must train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• Equivalent professional experience accepted.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
