Vancouver Croissant Ltd. in Burnaby, BC is inviting applications for the position of Pastry chef. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time position. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, To be determined, , 09:00 to 17:30.

Job Description

• The candidate must estimate the amount and costs of supplies and food items.
• The candidate must maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
• The candidate must requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
• The candidate must train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
