Sekhon Painting ( Calgary, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Painting supervisor - construction. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must supervise workers and oversee projects.
• The candidate must coordinate and schedule activities effectively.
• The candidate must train or arrange for training of staff.
• The candidate must set up machines and equipment.
• The candidate must advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate must read blueprints and drawings.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• The candidate must lead and instruct individuals.
• The candidate must mix paint and blend and match colours.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 3 to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate's relocation costs should be covered by the employer, allowing the employer to contribute to the employee's relocation costs incurred in moving closer to the company's offices or other work locations as required.
• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
