Painter

Reliance Kitchen Cabinets Ltd in Surrey, BC is inviting applications for the position of Painter. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare, clean, and sand surfaces prior to painting.
• The candidate must repair cracks and holes in walls, floors, or surfaces.
• The candidate must mix paint to achieve the desired colour and texture.
• The candidate must measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
• The candidate must advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings.
• The candidate must erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging.
• The candidate must apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
