Painter

MK Precision Renovation and Construction ( Hamilton, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Painter. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare, clean, and sand surfaces prior to painting.
• The candidate must repair cracks and holes in walls, floors, or surfaces.
• The candidate must mix paint to achieve the desired color and texture.
• The candidate must advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings.
• The candidate must apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• The candidate must be able to distinguish between colours.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
