Painter helper - construction

Colorworks Painting Ltd. ( Calgary, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Painter helper - construction. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate must erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• The candidate must mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt accurately.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work.
• The candidate must clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
• The candidate must remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• The candidate must tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
• The candidate must paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
