Korzite Coatings Inc in Guelph, ON is inviting applications for the position of Paint maker. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must monitor instruments on chemical formulation units.
• The candidate must clean and maintain workspaces.
• The candidate must measure, weigh and load chemical ingredients according to formulation cards.
• The candidate must record production information.
• The candidate must start up, shut down, and troubleshoot equipment.
• The candidate must take samples for testing.
• The candidate must perform routine chemical and physical tests of products.
• The candidate must operate equipment from control rooms or consoles near production units.
• The candidate must adjust processing machines and equipment.
• The candidate must monitor reaction processes and product transfers in compliance with safety procedures.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
