Taktik Airsoft in Montréal, QC is seeking a self-motivated Organizer, special events. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Casual employment - Part time leading to full time. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, On call, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must develop media strategies and public relations activities.
• The candidate must recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
• The candidate must solicit event donors.
• The candidate must coordinate media services.
• The candidate must coordinate set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems and other details for special events.
• The candidate must implement registration systems.
• The candidate must implement social programs, food and beverage, transportation and other services.
• The candidate must plan and arrange for trade shows and exhibits.
• The candidate must plan schedules, goals, and objectives.
• The candidate must research and design special events programs.
• The candidate must plan for social events and guest programs.
• The candidate must manage event logistics.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a sport venue to manage events, maintain facilities, and provide services to participants and spectators.
• The candidate must work in the sports sector, supporting athletic programs, training activities, competitions, and related operations.
