Countertop installer

Kootenay Granite Inc. in Cranbrook, BC is inviting applications for the position of Countertop installer. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Required shifts: Overtime required.

Job Description

• The candidate must install interior prefabricated products.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in construction trades and crafts, including bricklaying, stonemasonry, carpentry, joinery, demolition, electrical work, painting and decorating, plumbing, scaffolding, steeple jacking, and wall and floor work.
• The candidate must work in renovation to repair, update, or improve residential or commercial properties, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.
• The candidate must work in the installation process to set up large-scale, mixed-media constructions, often designed for a specific location or time period.
