Rusty Rooster Orchard is situated in Winfield, BC and is hiring a Orchard worker to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Seasonal employment or Full time opportunity. The schedule involves , 07:00 to 16:00 shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be able to distinguish between colours.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
