Orchard worker

Vienna Farms Ltd. in Vienna, ON is seeking a self-motivated Orchard worker. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. We are offering a Seasonal employment or Full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must examine product for quality and market readiness.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
• The candidate must work from a remote location, performing their duties from a site other than the employer’s central office while maintaining productivity and communication.
