Nursery supervisor

Beech Nursery is situated in King, ON and is hiring a Nursery supervisor to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must hire, supervise, and schedule staff.
• The candidate must plan and estimate labour and materials.
• The candidate must maintain accurate work records and logs.
• The candidate must tender and administer contracts.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• The candidate must resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• The candidate must supervise nursery and greenhouse workers.
• The candidate must establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have 3 to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
