Nursery labourer

Qualitree Propagators Inc. in Rosedale, BC is seeking a self-motivated Nursery labourer. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Seasonal employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Overtime required.

Job Description

• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants.
• The candidate must pot and re-pot plants.
• The candidate must transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings.
• The candidate must water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
• The candidate must clean work areas.
• The candidate must weed, prune, and trim trees and plants.
• The candidate must operate machinery.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
