Nursery labourer

Iadome in Rosedale, BC is inviting applications for the position of Nursery labourer. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Seasonal employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean crops effectively.
• The candidate must cut horticultural crops.
• The candidate must perform greenhouse cleaning.
• The candidate must tie and secure plants.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants.
• The candidate must pot and re-pot plants.
• The candidate must transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings.
• The candidate must dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs.
• The candidate must water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
• The candidate must clean work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
