Job Description
- The candidate must coordinate access and use of computer networks.
- The candidate must install web server hardware and software.
- The candidate must maintain, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, computer workstations, and peripheral equipment.
- The candidate must monitor the performance of computer systems and networks.
- The candidate must evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
- The candidate must implement data, software, and hardware security procedures.
- The candidate must perform routine network start-up and close-down and maintain control records.
- The candidate must set up local area networks and connections to the Internet.
- The candidate must implement network traffic and security monitoring software and optimize server performance.
