Job Description

The candidate must coordinate access and use of computer networks.
The candidate must install web server hardware and software.
The candidate must maintain, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, computer workstations, and peripheral equipment.
The candidate must monitor the performance of computer systems and networks.
The candidate must evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
The candidate must implement data, software, and hardware security procedures.
The candidate must perform routine network start-up and close-down and maintain control records.
The candidate must set up local area networks and connections to the Internet.
The candidate must implement network traffic and security monitoring software and optimize server performance.
