Bob The Mover Niagara is situated in Fort Erie, ON and is hiring a Moving company manager to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• The candidate must monitor departmental performance.
• The candidate must plan and organize daily operations effectively.
• The candidate must plan for changes to schedules and policies.
• The candidate must prepare reports for senior management.
• The candidate must recruit staff.
• The candidate must supervise staff.
• The candidate must train staff to ensure proficiency in their roles.
• The candidate must manage finances and budgets.
• The candidate must arrange for shipping documentation and the tracking and tracing of goods in transit.
• The candidate must ensure transport compliance with regulations.
• The candidate must establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods.
• The candidate must negotiate for services and preferential rates.
• The candidate must oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.

Work Setting

• The candidate's relocation costs should not be covered by the employer; if the company does not provide a relocation package, you may request an advance on your earnings to cover some of your moving expenses.
• The candidate must work in a shipping company or agency to coordinate cargo operations and manage logistics.
• The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be a noisy, busy place to work, with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers, working alongside many forklift truck drivers who are moving pallets between shelves.
• The candidate must work in a general office.
