Actlabs ( Dryden, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Mining technician. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Term or contractFull time. Shift timings include: Day, Evening, Night.

Job Description

• The candidate must assist in preparing rock, mineral or metal samples.
• The candidate must feed conveyors, crushers and other equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in equipment operation to safely operate, maintain, and monitor machinery for efficient performance.
