Ben Hokum and Son Limited in Pikwàkanagàn, ON is seeking a self-motivated Millwright industrial. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Night, , 15:30 to 03:00.

Job Description

• The candidate must assemble mechanical equipment.
• The candidate must detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
• The candidate must repair or replace defective machinery parts.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
• The candidate must install machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• The candidate must perform preventive maintenance.
• The candidate must perform emergency repairs to equipment.
• The candidate must check mechanical assemblies and subassemblies for alignment and proper functioning.
• The candidate must maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be analytical.
• The candidate must be a quick learner.

Work Setting

• The candidate should be involved in the maintenance, repair, and maintenance of machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings.
• The candidate must focus on repair work, restoring damaged, deteriorated, or broken items to good condition.
• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
• The candidate must work in a sawmill to operate machinery, process timber, and maintain quality and safety standards.
• The candidate must work in industrial equipment and automation manufacturing to assemble, operate, and maintain machinery and automated systems.

• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
