Milk production labourer

Ferme Ricky inc in St-Albert, ON is seeking a self-motivated Milk production labourer. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Early morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
• The candidate must clear fields of wood and stones.
• The candidate must diagnose livestock health issues.
• The candidate must disinfect pens, barns, or poultry houses.
• The candidate must handle animals.
• The candidate must monitor the calving process.
• The candidate must monitor animal health.
• The candidate must perform livestock feeding.
• The candidate must prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving.
• The candidate must treat livestock health issues.
• The candidate must feed and tend animals.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must milk cows.
• The candidate must clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens.
• The candidate must maintain accurate work records and logs.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
