Job Description
- The candidate must operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from surfaces of metal products.
- The candidate must assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers.
- The candidate must sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials.
- The candidate must grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
- The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.
- The candidate must load and unload vehicles.
- The candidate must read and interpret work orders.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must be fluent in English.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- The candidate must be dependable.
- The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
- The candidate must be flexible.
- The candidate must be reliable.

Work Site Environment
- The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.

- The candidate must work in a sheet metal fabrication shop to cut, shape, and assemble metal products according to specifications.
- The candidate must work in a metal products manufacturing company to fabricate, assemble, and inspect metal products while ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained.
