Clinique Omicron ( Brossard, QC) is currently looking for a skilled Medical officer - Canadian armed forces. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Term or contractPart time. Required shifts: Flexible hours, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals.
• The candidate must examine patients’ health conditions to identify diseases and injuries.
• The candidate must help patients develop healthy habits, break old habits, and reshape their approach to wellness.
• The candidate must order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment.
• The candidate must consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients’ physical and mental health.
• The candidate must prescribe and administer medications and treatments.
• The candidate must advise patients on health care.
• The candidate must coordinate or manage primary patient care.
• The candidate must provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must possess an earned doctorate degree.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a mental health institution or clinic to support patient care, assist professionals, and maintain safe operations.
• The candidate must work in a private practice.
• The candidate must work in a physician’s office to assist medical staff, manage patient records, and support clinical operations.
