Chef

HUNTERS MARKET is situated in Iqaluit, NU and is hiring a Chef to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Early morning, Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
• The candidate must supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.
• The candidate must create new recipes.
• The candidate must instruct cooks in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets.
• The candidate must prepare and cook meals or specialty foods.
• The candidate must plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.

• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
