Medical laboratory technologist

Island Health in Campbell River, BC is seeking a self-motivated Medical laboratory technologist. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. The schedule involves Shift, To be determined shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must collect blood, tissue, or other samples from patients.
• The candidate must examine the results of tests.
• The candidate must conduct routine laboratory tests and sample analyses.
• The candidate must clean and maintain medical laboratory equipment.
• The candidate must collect tissue specimens for chemical analysis and accurately record findings.
