Job Description

  • The candidate must prepare written materials, including reports, briefs, and website content.
  • The candidate must produce educational, publicity, and informational materials to awaken curiosity and interest in the subject matter.
  • The candidate must write speeches, presentations, and press releases.
  • The candidate must answer written and oral inquiries.
  • The candidate must coordinate special publicity events and promotions.
  • The candidate must gather, research, and prepare communications material.
  • The candidate must initiate and maintain contact with the media.
  • The candidate must develop marketing strategies.
  • The candidate must write and edit press releases, newsletters, and communications materials.
  • The candidate must consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support.
  • The candidate must establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units.
  • The candidate must develop marketing and communication plans.
  • The candidate must participate in staff meetings.
  • The candidate must oversee the preparation of written material for website content.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
  • The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
