Job Description
- The candidate must minimize hazards at all stages of the food production process.
- The candidate must train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- The candidate must prepare production and other reports.
- The candidate must recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- The candidate must supervise, coordinate, and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers.
- The candidate must establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units.
- The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must be fluent in English.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- The candidate must be well-organized.
- The candidate must be a good team player.
- The candidate must be reliable.
Work Site Environment
- The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.
- The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
Work Setting
- The candidate should work in a meat processing and packing plant/establishment that protects meat and meat products during processing, storage, and distribution from mechanical, chemical, and biological hazards.
