Marine equipment electrician

Neptunus Yachts International is situated in St. Catharines, ON and is hiring a Marine equipment electrician to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
• The candidate must maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors.
• The candidate must maintain inventory of stored material.
• The candidate must troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and related devices.
• The candidate must read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine equipment layout.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work in confined spaces.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
