Restaurant Le King Alexandre in Sherbrooke, QC is inviting applications for the position of Maître d'. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Flexible availability required for: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must supervise staff.
• The candidate must inspect dining rooms and other food and beverage serving areas.
• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
• The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
• The candidate must greet customers.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate must have more than 5 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must demonstrate leadership.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
• The candidate must work in a fine dining establishment to provide high-quality food and beverage service, ensure excellent customer experiences, and support daily restaurant operations.
