Maintenance manager

Yarmouth County Museum and Archives is situated in Yarmouth, NS and is hiring a Maintenance manager to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment - Part time. Work schedule: Day, Evening, On call.

Job Description

• The candidate must evaluate construction projects involving modifications to commercial, transportation, or recreational facilities, as well as real estate properties.
• The candidate must plan and organize construction projects.
• The candidate must prepare reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility.
• The candidate must assess clients’ needs and resources to recommend appropriate goods or services.
• The candidate must provide input into product design where goods or services need to be tailored to client requirements.
• The candidate must develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
• The candidate must direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.
• The candidate must oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of real estate infrastructures, including machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.
