WESLEY INDUSTRIAL MACHINE SHOP LTD. is situated in Winnipeg, MB and is hiring a Machine fitter to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must read blueprints to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must move and align subassemblies and components.
• The candidate must inspect furniture and fixture subassemblies and finished products for conformance to quality standards.
• The candidate must use machining tools to fabricate or recondition parts.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in fitting, performing tasks related to the assembly, adjustment, and installation of components or equipment.
• The candidate must work in assembly to construct, assemble, or install components and products according to specifications, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• The candidate must work in inspection services to examine, assess, and ensure that products, equipment, or operational processes meet established standards and regulations.
