Long haul truck driver

LALLI BRO’S EXPRESS is situated in Surrey, BC and is hiring a Long haul truck driver to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations.
• The candidate must drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• The candidate must load and unload goods efficiently.
• The candidate must operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely.
• The candidate must oversee the condition of vehicles and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.
• The candidate must receive and relay information to central dispatch.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.

• The candidate must be willing to travel overnight.
