Bhau Logistics in Slave Lake, AB is inviting applications for the position of Long haul truck driver. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must load and unload goods efficiently.
• The candidate must operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely.
• The candidate must oversee the condition of vehicles and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.
• The candidate must receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• The candidate must record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
• The candidate must tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo.
• The candidate must transport and handle dangerous goods.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.

• The candidate should be willing to work for long hours in sitting positions.
