Long haul truck driver

BAY ENTERPRISES INC. is situated in Rocky View, AB and is hiring a Long haul truck driver to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Day, Evening, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
• The candidate must oversee the condition of vehicles and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• The candidate must perform emergency roadside repairs.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.
• The candidate must record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
• The candidate must tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
