Long haul truck driver

Double Trans Trucking Ltd. ( Aldergrove, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Long haul truck driver. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• The candidate must operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.
• The candidate must receive and relay information to central dispatch.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
• The candidate must be willing to travel cross-border.
• The candidate must be willing to travel for extended periods.
• The candidate must be willing to travel overnight.
