Job Description
- The candidate must calculate fixed assets and depreciation accurately.
- The candidate must calculate the cost of truck repairs and new parts if needed.
- The candidate must plan or adjust routes using computer equipment, GPS, or other navigation devices to optimize fuel efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.
- The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
- The candidate must coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques.
- The candidate must demonstrate expertise in mountain driving.
- The candidate must demonstrate professionalism in customer service.
- The candidate must arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations.
- The candidate must drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
- The candidate must drive lighter, special purpose trucks.
- The candidate must load and unload goods efficiently.
- The candidate must obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
- The candidate must operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely.
- The candidate must oversee the condition of vehicles and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
- The candidate must pay and receive payments for goods.
- The candidate must perform brake adjustments.
