Livestock labourer

Lonesome Pine Cattle Co is situated in St. Michael, AB and is hiring a Livestock labourer to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must clear fields of wood and stones.
• The candidate must handle animals.
• The candidate must treat livestock health issues.
• The candidate must feed and tend animals.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
• The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
