Live-in caregiver - seniors

PRIVATE HOUSEHOLD in Mississauga, ON is inviting applications for the position of Live-in caregiver - seniors. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Early morning, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• The candidate must assist in regular exercise, such as walking.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must provide companionship.
• The candidate must provide personal care.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade or equivalent experience.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a room, and board provided dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusion and well-being where our staff members thrive.
• The candidate must be able to work in the employer’s or client’s home, be capable of working at varied site locations, and understand that performance progression is reviewed annually.
