Live-in caregiver - seniors

Dr. V. Jauhari Medicine Professional Corporation is situated in Markham, ON and is hiring a Live-in caregiver - seniors to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Term or contractFull time opportunity. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• The candidate must launder clothing and household linens.
• The candidate must mend clothing and linens.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must provide companionship.
• The candidate must provide personal care.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• The candidate must cook meals as required.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.

Work Setting

• Optional live-in accommodation (room and board) is available at no charge. It is not a condition of employment.
• The candidate must be able to work in the employer’s or client’s home, be capable of working at varied site locations, and understand that performance progression is reviewed annually.
