Live-in caregiver - seniors

Josephine Schneider in Lethbridge, AB is inviting applications for the position of Live-in caregiver - seniors. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must care for pets.
• The candidate must administer bedside and personal care to clients.
• The candidate must administer medications as prescribed.
• The candidate must assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• The candidate must assist in regular exercise, such as walking.
• The candidate must change non-sterile dressings.
• The candidate must collect specimens.
• The candidate must feed or assist in feeding.
• The candidate must launder clothing and household linens.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must provide companionship.
• The candidate must provide personal care.
• The candidate must shop for food and household supplies.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• The candidate must cook meals as required.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate must be punctual.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
