Live-in caregiver - persons with disabilities

LI ANGELA ZHU ( Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC) is currently looking for a skilled Live-in caregiver - persons with disabilities. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must assist in regular exercise, such as walking.
• The candidate must launder clothing and household linens.
• The candidate must mend clothing and linens.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must plan therapeutic diets and menus.
• The candidate must provide companionship.
• The candidate must provide personal care.
• The candidate must shop for food and household supplies.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• The candidate must cook meals as required.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Site Environment

• The work environment is smoke-free.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in optional accommodation, an adjustment to a job or work environment that makes it possible for an individual with a disability to perform their job duties.
• The candidate must work at the employer's home.
