The Keg Steakhouse & Bar in Victoria, BC is inviting applications for the position of Line cook. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must determine appropriate food portion sizes and associated costs.
• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• The candidate must maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
