Job Description
- The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
- The candidate must inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
- The candidate must train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- The candidate must supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
- The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.
- The candidate must manage kitchen operations.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must be fluent in English.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- The candidate must be dependable.
- The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
- The candidate must be flexible.
- The candidate must be reliable.
- The candidate must be a good team player.
Work Setting
- The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
- The candidate should work in a cafeteria where the employees of a company can get lunch without leaving their place of work.
- The candidate should work in a bar to prepare and serve drinks to customers in liquor-licensed premises such as bars, nightclubs, hotels, and restaurants.
- The candidate must work in a bistro to prepare and serve food and beverages, provide excellent customer service, and support daily restaurant operations.
