Line cook

Salty's Beach House in Penticton, BC is seeking a self-motivated Line cook. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must coordinate special events.
• The candidate must determine appropriate food portion sizes and associated costs.
• The candidate must plan menus and estimate food requirements for preparation.
• The candidate must requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• The candidate must inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
• The candidate must order supplies and equipment.
• The candidate must maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.
