Line cook

Arborg Chicken Chef in Arborg, MB is seeking a self-motivated Line cook. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
• The candidate must prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• The candidate must prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
• The candidate must inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
• The candidate must train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
• The candidate must supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
• The candidate must maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
