Stellamar Hotel Management & Services Corp in Victoria, BC is seeking a self-motivated Light duty cleaner. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Term or contractFull time. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• The candidate must dust furniture.
• The candidate must vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• The candidate must clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• The candidate must disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
• The candidate must clean and disinfect elevators.
• The candidate must attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items.
• The candidate must pick up debris and empty trash containers.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must clean changing rooms and showers.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle weights between 45 and 60 kg (100-132 lbs).
• The candidate must be able to handle weights between 81 and 100 kg (177-220 lbs).
