Landscaping supervisor

Habanero Landscape Solutions ( Victoria, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Landscaping supervisor. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must hire, supervise, and schedule staff.
• The candidate must resolve work problems by providing technical advice to increase the value and functionality of a property.
• The candidate must schedule work.
• The candidate must plan and direct grounds maintenance.
• The candidate must plan and estimate labour and materials.
• The candidate must organize and direct construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls.
• The candidate must plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work.
• The candidate must read blueprints and drawings.
• The candidate must repair and maintain equipment.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• The candidate must resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• The candidate must have supervisory experience.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work at heights.

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
