Blue Jay Irrigation ( London, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Landscaping supervisor. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Day, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must direct planting of trees, gardens, and lawns.
• The candidate must hire, supervise, and schedule staff.
• The candidate must organize planting of trees, gardens, and lawns.
• The candidate must resolve work problems by providing technical advice to increase the value and functionality of a property.
• The candidate must schedule events, programs, and activities.
• The candidate must schedule work.
• The candidate must plan and direct grounds maintenance.
• The candidate must plan and estimate labour and materials.
• The candidate must organize and direct construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls.
• The candidate must plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work.
• The candidate must maintain accurate work records and logs.
• The candidate must tender and administer contracts.
• The candidate must read blueprints and drawings.
• The candidate must repair and maintain equipment.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• The candidate must resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• The candidate must supervise nursery and greenhouse workers.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate should be client-focused.

• The candidate must be able to handle a large workload.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.
