Landscape technician

Les Artisans du paysage in Québec, QC is inviting applications for the position of Landscape technician. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must trim trees to achieve desired pruning objectives, such as crown cleaning, thinning, raising, reduction, restoration, espalier pruning, or vista pruning.
• The candidate must manage landscaping projects.
• The candidate must prepare conceptual designs.
• The candidate must plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental, and other purposes.
• The candidate must plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens.
• The candidate must plant and move trees.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
