LAN (local area network) technician

Sertek informatique inc. is situated in Val-d'Or, QC and is hiring a LAN (local area network) technician to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Early morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, On call.

Job Description

• The candidate must maintain, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, computer workstations, and peripheral equipment.
• The candidate must troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade web server hardware and software.
• The candidate must evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
